Tips

If a tree has been topped previously and has sprouted vigorously or has sustained storm damage, crown restoration can improve its structure and appearance.
Young and healthy trees typically tolerate heavier pruning than more mature trees. Large trees will require little trimming if early structural pruning is done as it grows.
